Mission statement: The mission of the Hawaii Pacific Export Council (HPEC) is to promote U.S. exports from Hawaii and the American Pacific Islands by supporting the activities of the US Commercial Service and Hawaii Export Assistance Center, counseling businesses on the exporting process, and conducting trade education programs.

U.S. Commercial Service: Hawaii Export Assistance Center

The Hawaii Export Assistance Center is an office of the U.S. Commercial Service which is a part of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. Their mission is to support Hawaii-Pacific firms in their sales efforts in overseas markets.
